Domain-name
A
domain-name is the words / characters that follow the WWW. bit of a web-site
address. You have to pay a license fee to a domain-name marketing company
registered to market domain-names. The license fee is paid at least annually,
with some such as .co.uk (this is called the domain-name extension) names being
paid for every two years. Your own domain-name can cost as little as £5 per
year, depending upon the domain-name and extension. With your own domain-name
you can opt to have it linked to your web-page with All Together Services, and
should you wish to run your own web-site you can do so by purchasing
domain-space behind your domain-name.
